The Apprenticeship is for 4 years and you will work towards attainment of the industry recognised qualification. 

Applicants must have or be expecting to achieve National 4 level in English, Maths and a technical subject or have equivalent qualifications or experience.  In addition, you must be willing to attend work and college and commit to meeting agreed timescales and targets in relation to attaining the industry recognised qualification within 4 years.
